People Can Fly is one of the leading independent AAA games development studios with an international team of hundreds of talented individuals working from offices located in Poland, UK, US, and Canada, and from all over the world thanks to our remote work programs.

Founded in 2002, we made our mark on the shooter genre with titles such as Painkiller, Bulletstorm, Gears of War: Judgment, and Outriders. We are one of the most experienced Unreal Engine studios in the industry and we are expanding it with in-house solutions called PCF Framework.

Our creative teams are currently working on several exciting titles: Gemini is our new project being developed with Square Enix; Bifrost, Victoria and Dagger are projects we\'re growing in the self-publishing model. We also have one project in the concept phase \xe2\x80\x93 Red; as well as two projects in VR technology \xe2\x80\x93 Green Hell VR and Thunder - a new project based on one of the IPs from the Group\xe2\x80\x99s portfolio.

Project Bifrost is a yet unannounced AAA action-adventure game developed by our North American team supported by PCF\xe2\x80\x99s European studios.

• Provide mentorship, direction and best in class engineering principles to ensure quality results and efficient working practices
• Mentoring, managing and leading the FrontEnd programming department
• Conduct regular code reviews and manage the coding team to excellence
• Provide day-to-day feedback and creatively solve problems
• Work with production team to plan development and provide tasks assignment to programmers team schedule
• Work with design and tech leads and the production team to translate designs into great looking UIs
• Develop and ensure adherence to standards and best practices for writing clean, efficient code
• Design and develop scalable UI solutions
• Setup a standard of documenting implementations for UI Engineer team
• Write clean, efficient, meticulously commented JavaScript, HTML, CSS code
• Supervision of documentation created by the team members
• Conduct consistent performance reviews of staff members
• Conduct recruitment projects with HR collaboration
• Conduct onboarding to new hires

• 7 years of web development experience
• At least 2 shipped AAA projects from start to finish with credits as a programmer
• 2 years of experience in leading a team of programmers
• Strong mentoring and leadership skills
• Knowledge of design relating to user-interface and ergonomics
• Excellent knowledge of HTML5, CSS3
• Excellent knowledge of JavaScript and JavaScript Frameworks
• Expertise in developing and testing across multiple platforms
• Proficiency with Atlassian software (JIRA, Confluence)
• Proficiency with Swarm and Perforce
• Solid understanding of game development processes
• Ability to write solid, reliable, efficient code
• Ability to profile the code
• Being able to work efficiently under tight deadlines
• Strong verbal and written communication skills in English
• Open-minded team player attitude
• Strong work ethic and self-motivated
• Unreal Engine 3/4 experience
• Adobe Animate / Flash experience
• C++ experience
• BS (or higher) in Computer Science or similar discipline (Physics, Math, EE, etc.)
