Job Overview
DSG Power Systems is seeking an experienced
Lead Technician
to lead our Saskatoon service team. The ideal candidate has strong hands-on knowledge of diesel engines and generator systems, plus the leadership skills to manage a busy shop environment.Key Responsibilities:
Oversee day-to-day service operations and technician scheduling Diagnose and repair diesel engines and generator sets Provide technical support and training to service staff Ensure quality, safety, and customer satisfaction Manage work orders, warranties, and workflow efficiency
Qualifications:
5+ years' experience in diesel engine diagnostics and repair Previous supervisory or lead-hand experience Proficient with electronic diagnostic tools (Cummins INSITE, Perkins EST, Isuzu IDSS, etc.) Knowledge of AC electrical and generator systems is an asset Red Seal Heavy Duty Technician certification preferred
