Job Description

Imagine a world where everyone's dreams could take flight.

For many Autistic and otherwise neurodivergent individuals and their families, the journey towards meaningful inclusion is lifelong. That journey isn't a straight path. It's filled with unique challenges, milestones, and opportunities at every stage of life.

Every journey needs a flight plan.

PAFN is a proud Canadian charity that exists to support our families by understanding their needs and sharing that understanding to the broader collective of our provincial communities. We do this through practices and programs that enhance the lives of British Columbians and Canadians, making life more fulfilling and inclusive.

We're Canada's first and only purpose-built autism centre, a 60,000-square-foot hub where families can access specialized services, world-class partners, and community support all in one place and across our network, from childhood to adulthood. Founded by families, for families.

Little Pilots Inclusive Daycare.

Located inside the Pacific Autism Centre in Richmond, BC, Little Pilots is the only inclusive daycare in the Lower Mainland of British Columbia.

With a 1:4 teacher to participant ratio, Little Pilots Inclusive Daycare provides meaningful social and learning experiences to children 30 months to school age, regardless of background, experience, or ability. Children with different needs learn better when they learn together.

At Little Pilots we foster an environment where children on the autism spectrum learn side by side with their typically developing peers. Curriculum is developed based on the child's needs and interests along with families' goals. It is also designed to promote their holistic developments, including social skills, physical skills, independence skills, literacy skills and emotional skills.

In our care, children are exposed to a diverse range of experiences, learning to accommodate and appreciate different types of friends. By engaging in shared activities and becoming role models for their peers, they not only master early learning lessons but also develop invaluable social and communication skills.
