We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Lead Solar Installer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the installation of solar energy systems, ensuring that all components are installed correctly and safely. This role requires a strong mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in various weather conditions. As a Solar Installer, you will play a crucial role in promoting renewable energy solutions and contributing to a sustainable future.

Responsibilities

Install solar panels and associated equipment on residential and commercial properties. Operate hand tools and heavy equipment safely and efficiently. Perform low voltage wiring and connections for solar systems. Conduct site assessments to determine optimal placement of solar installations. Collaborate with team members to complete installations in a timely manner. Maintain a clean and organized work environment during installation projects. Troubleshoot and resolve any issues that arise during the installation process. Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies at all times.

Requirements

Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to understand technical drawings and schematics. Familiarity with low voltage systems is a plus. Ability to work at heights and perform physical labor in various weather conditions. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members and clients. Previous experience in solar installation or related fields is advantageous but not required.

Pay: $20.00-$35.35 per hour
