Your Impact:



Reporting to the Manager of Cloud Billing and Reporting, the position willPerforms complex level work which requires broad knowledge, training and understanding, combined with creative and independent thinking along with the conceptual ability to relate work performed within broader technical and business context. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in high-performance billing solutions and leading cross-functional teams through all phases of the software lifecycle.



As a Lead Software Developer, you will:



Lead the end-to-end design and development of billing and invoicing systems. Translate business requirements into scalable, efficient technical solutions. Ensure system reliability, scalability, and data consistency across billing processes. Develop code, unit tests, and documentation for both legacy and new environments, implementing changes through the change management process. Apply critical analysis and problem-solving skills to address complex technical challenges. Drive migration of internal and external systems and dataflows into our environment. Manage sprint planning, estimation, and backlog prioritization in collaboration with Product Owners. Provide Tier 2 and on-call support for billing applications and related systems, ensuring SOX audit compliance and delivering technical documentation and training.

What you need to Succeed:



University/College degree in a related discipline or equivalent work experience. Minimum 10 years in technical development environments, including analysis, design, coding, testing, and maintenance of computer-based systems. Expertise in SDLC methodologies (Waterfall and Agile) and experience architecting solutions and system migrations. Strong foundation in Linux, Unix, and Windows OS environments. Proficiency in scripting and programming languages: SQL, Linux Shell, JavaScript, AWK, Bash, Perl, C/C++, Python, PHP, Apache. Hands-on experience with relational DBMS (SAP/Sybase ASE DB, Oracle DB, SQL Server) and Kansys Edge billing system. Knowledge of financial book closing processes, general accounting practices, and transactional billing applications; experience integrating billing systems with CRM, ERP, and payment platforms (e.g., Salesforce, SAP, Zuora). Familiarity with Microsoft IIS, PowerShell, and Vertex tax module integration is a plus.
