Skills and experience we value

• 8+ years of experience in an engineering role
• Experience in bringing new features/services into production.
• Strong Javascript skills using Node.js, including using node to build non-web applications, use of popular node libraries like async, pg and request.
• Extensive experience constructing & maintaining Postgres or SQL-like databases.
• Experience building & making calls to RESTful APIs.
• Cloud architecture experience (AWS and/or Azure).
• Experience with the full web stack including SSL, DNS, HTTP Headers, load balancing, and networking in some depth.
• A practical understanding of Linux systems.
• A high level of comfort using Git and Github.
• A passion for software development that often extends beyond your work.
• A desire to learn new technologies and techniques.
• Nice to have: projects or contributions on GitHub we can see.

What would make you really stand out

• Hands on experience in applying design patterns, writing unit tests and optimizing performance in application level
• Type-Script/JavaScript.
• Demonstrated experience with modern JavaScript libraries/frameworks such as React, Vue, Angular, Ember, Backbone, etc.
