Haul-All Equipment Ltd is looking for a

Lead Shipper

to prepare, arrange, and record the movement of products, parts, supplies, materials and equipment from a dynamic metal fabrication facility.

The successful candidate will be trained to lead Haul-All's Shipping Team to accomplish the following job tasks within expected time, quality, and safety standards:

Arrange shipping for parts and whole goods (containers, heaters and trucks) to dealers and customers. Arrange shipping of subassemblies and returns to vendors and subcontractors. Communicate with sales and production to ensure timely and complete delivery of outbound parts to shipping department Use carrier portals to provide shipping costs and transit times to dealers, external and internal customers. Accurately prepare packing slips, bills of lading, customs forms, invoices and other shipping documents in ERP system as well as carrier portals. Prepare containers and crates for shipping, record contents, pack goods and affix identifying information and shipping instructions. Ensure packaging is done in a manner to avoid damage during shipping. Oversee safe loading & unloading of goods onto trucks. Assist with truck checkout prior to customer pick-up. Operate forklift, hand truck or other equipment to load, unload, transport and store goods. Ensure equipment and machines are operated following proper procedures. Accurately maintain internal record-keeping systems. Notify purchasing when shipping material is needed, ensuring an adequate supply at all times. Maintain a neat & clean working area. Other duties as required.

Desired Qualifications:

High school education Previous shipping/receiving experience in a manufacturing facility Good verbal and written communication skills Strong attention to detail - accurate and accountable with a good memory Self-starter with the ability to prioritize Ability to learn and work well with others Coachable and not afraid to ask questions Proficient with MS Office suite (Outlook, Word, Excel) and ERP-systems Forklift ticket Reliable - good work ethic and work attendance history Ability to meet deadlines under pressure in a fast-paced environment Ability to perform heavy lifting.
