The Opportunity: Security Operations SME - AI-Driven Orchestration
OpenText's Security Operations team is seeking a Security Subject Matter Expert (SME) with advanced skills in AI-driven orchestration to enhance and modernize our security operations capabilities. This role focuses on SOC-driven services, including monitoring, detection, response, vulnerability management, and compliance, while leveraging AI-driven orchestration across SOC platforms (including SOAR) to improve efficiency, resilience, and threat mitigation.
The successful candidate will lead AI-driven orchestration strategy, integrate AI/ML models into SOC workflows, and collaborate with security and IT teams to reduce complexity and accelerate threat mitigation--enabling faster and more advanced threat detection and response, with a focus on reducing MTTD and MTTR through AI-driven orchestration.
You Are Great At:
Security Operations expertise across cloud monitoring, SIEM, EDR, vulnerability management, and compliance.
Lead and collaborate with teams to integrate AI-driven orchestration while ensuring governance and standards compliance.
Drive AI-driven orchestration strategy across SOC platforms to enhance detection and response.
Oversee integration of AI orchestration into SIEM, SOAR, and EDR, aligned with SOC modernization and compliance.
AI-driven orchestration strategy to streamline SOC detection and response.
Integrate orchestration into SIEM, SOAR, and EDR while ensuring modernization and compliance.
AI for Cybersecuity Operationalize AI/ML models for threat prediction and anomaly detection.
Enable AI-driven detection and automated SOC response via orchestration and tool integration.
Trusted advisor and technical lead in Security Operations, driving AI-driven orchestration initiatives.
Collaborate with security and IT teams to implement orchestration opportunities and continuous improvements.
Define SOC dashboards/KPIs and stay ahead of AI, orchestration, and SOC modernization trends.
Required Skills & Experience
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or related field; 8+ years in security operations with SIEM, SOAR, EDR, vulnerability management, and compliance expertise.
Strong programming skills (Python, PowerShell) and familiarity with AI/ML frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch); experience with SOAR platforms and SIEM/EDR integration.
Proven ability to lead AI-driven orchestration strategy and SOC integration initiatives.
Excellent analytical, communication, and leadership skills; preferred certifications include CISSP, SANS SEC598, and CAIP.
