People Can Fly is one of the leading independent AAA games development studios with an international team of hundreds of talented individuals working from offices located in Poland, UK, US, and Canada, and from all over the world thanks to our remote work programs.

Founded in 2002, we made our mark on the shooter genre with titles such as Painkiller, Bulletstorm, Gears of War: Judgment, and Outriders. We are one of the most experienced Unreal Engine studios in the industry and we are expanding it with in-house solutions called PCF Framework.

Our creative teams are currently working on several exciting titles: Gemini is our new project being developed with Square Enix; Bifrost, Victoria and Dagger are projects we\'re growing in the self-publishing model. We also have one project in the concept phase - Red; as well as two projects in VR technology - Green Hell VR and Thunder - a new project based on one of the IPs from the Group\'s portfolio.

Project Maverick is a yet unannounced AAA game developed with Microsoft. The game development involves our European and North American teams.


  • Own delivery of a AAA product, direct and manage project development from beginning to end
  • Focusing on project quality, working closely with Producers and Leads on meeting best in class game experience.
  • Provide leadership to cross-discipline teams whilst creating the best team culture
  • Accountable for all planning rituals, project logistics, and task management
  • Manage, track, and report project progress, together with risk management and proactive issue resolution
  • Facilitating and improving internal communication across multiple time zones
  • Mentoring staff, managing quality, and budgets for projects
  • Manage publisher relationship and direct team to meet publisher and stakeholder expectations.
  • Build, develop, and grow any business relationships vital to the success of the project
  • Build and maintain a collaborative relationship with all the departments that ensures a best-in-industry production process
  • Driving work on creating and maintaining the studio\'s production methodology and processes
  • High level reporting to executive level on project risks, counter measures and schedule progress
Qualifications
  • 10+ years\' experience in a Game Development in a leading role
  • Shipped at least one console game title in a lead role, end-to-end
  • Experience in managing a team of at least 100+ people, across different time zones
  • Experience in working with external Publishers
  • Proven project management skills
  • Excellent presentation skills
  • Knowledge of Agile and Waterfall software development methodologies
  • Great negotiation skills
  • Extremely strong problem solving and organizational skills
  • Excellent teamwork, focus on contributing to good working relationships throughout the team
  • Ability to work effectively with people with different specializations and backgrounds
  • Ability to work under time pressure
  • High work ethic and self-motivated.
  • Passion for Games.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills in English
