Position Summary:

All Pro Systems Ltd. is currently looking to fill a Lead Pipefitter position on our team. We're looking for applicants with qualifications of an experienced Journeyman. We are looking to fill this roll immediately.

Responsibilities:

Install and maintain piping and associated systems adhering to acts and regulations to company standards Perform preventative maintenance procedures, to minimize downtime and maintenance costs, and manage equipment efficiencies Operating the necessary equipment for pipe fitting (pipe beveling, pipe threading, pipe cutting, groover, torch or plasma cutter, drill press etc.) Measure, cut, thread, groove, bend, assemble and install metal pipe, valves, and fittings. Communicate with clients when on site to ensure that all needs are met Maintain a clear line of communication between the client and our company

Job Skills & Qualifications:

Able to read and understand construction blueprints, diagrams, and specifications used in installation activities. Able to work in unusual and sometimes difficult positions such as climbing ladders, scaffolding and high lift equipment, working within ducts, crawl spaces, above ceilings, etc. Ability to adhere to, implement, and always follow safety guidelines and procedures. Ability to multi-task and prioritize work tasks. Professional attitude and ability to work closely and communicate well with coworkers, other trades and/or clients. Completed a minimum of Grade 12 or equivalent. Must have at least a Class G Driver's License. Must have access to own vehicle to be able to get to and from the Shop in Brantford each day. Must be physically capable of performing all work required of this position. Must be able to communicate clearly and effectively, both in written and verbal communication. Must have strong interpersonal and problem -solving skills. Maintain company vehicle to neat, clean, and safe standards (where applicable). Very punctual and dependable. Ability to take direction and work with a minimal amount of supervision. Must be an Ontario resident or willing to relocate.

Salary:

Starting at $35 - $45 per hour, based off experience; hiring rate is negotiable per applicant based on your experience and willingness to take on a lead-role. Paid work related travel.
