Skookum Landscapes is a small, high-quality landscaping company based in Vancouver, BC. We're looking for an experienced

Landscape Foreman / Lead Hand

who can take charge of job sites, lead a small team, and bring both hardscaping and softscaping projects to life. You'll be a key part of our tight-knit crew, with opportunities to grow into a long-term leadership role.

What You'll Do:

Lead day-to-day work on residential and small commercial landscaping projects Supervise and work alongside a small crew Read and follow landscape plans and layouts Perform hardscape construction (patios, walkways, retaining walls, etc.) Carry out softscape tasks (planting, soil prep, turf install, etc.) Build outdoor wood structures (fences, decks, pergolas, garden beds) Operate landscaping equipment and power tools Keep job sites clean, safe, and organized Communicate with clients, suppliers, and the company owner Drive company vehicle for transporting materials, tools, and crew

What We're Looking For:

3+ years of landscaping experience (required) Hardscaping and softscaping skills (required) Carpentry experience (fences, decks, pergolas, etc.) Leadership and crew management experience Valid BC driver's license with a clean record (required) Ability to work outdoors in all weather Dependable, organized, and motivated to take initiative

Nice to Have:

Experience operating equipment like skid steers or mini-excavators Ability to read and interpret landscape drawings First Aid certification

Pay: $28.00-$40.00 per hour
