Responsibilities

  • We are looking for passionate Lead Engineer with excellent technical and communication skills. This role provides you opportunities to work on the performance testing with a variety products and technologies in eCommerce business segment. The position is techno-functional. A candidate must have the ability to communicate and work with diverse teams such as Development, DBA, DevOps
  • Main responsibilities:
  • Assess business processes, test and to find performance problems of complex business solutions with many large integrated systems
  • Provide guidance and direction in the area of various business applications performance
Requirements
  • Characteristics of desired Candidate:
  • Leading experience
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
  • Strong Computer Science background
  • Ability to work independently and take ownership of assigned tasks
  • Strong communication skills
  • Ability to document test results, analysis, and processes
  • Must Have Experiences:
  • Test Design & Execution Skills - design and execute performance tests with an understanding of functional and non-functional requirements to provide high value, high accuracy results
  • Ability to understand complex system architectures and come up with creative solutions to performance problems
  • Hardware Knowledge - Good understanding of concepts of latency, memory and CPU utilization, multi-threading, cache, memory management
  • Experience in using Performance testing tools like - LoadRunner, JMeter
  • Working knowledge of SQL
  • Knowledge of one or more programming languages (e.g., Python, Perl, Java, etc.)
  • Linux (strong bash), tcp/ip, SSH, OS bottlenecks identification, hardware monitoring tools
  • Following experience is a plus:
  • JVM troubleshooting skills and experience on profiling java web-apps
  • Experience on CI
  • Oracle DB performance, SQL tuning and system administration
  • Monitoring; embedded OS tools; any APM is a big plus
