Reporting to the Pensions Delivery Manager, you will be a member of the team enabling change and transformation across Pension initiatives. The Delivery Lead is responsible for supporting the planning, coordinating, and implementing initiatives. This person will work closely with the project team, and stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery and will always demonstrate the OMERS vision and core values.As a member of the Project Delivery team, you will:Support the creation and execution of project kick-off materials, project plans and updatesRisk & Issue Management by proactively identifying, documenting and managing risks and issues with clear mitigation plansCoordinate meetings, conduct regular project meetings, take meeting minutes, communicate action items to the team and assist to drive projects to successful resolutionA relationship-builder who will ask thoughtful questions, listen intently, and engage stakeholders, sponsors and executives in a way that builds trust and credibilityTrack project progress and prepare regular status updates for the project team, sponsors and executive team as requiredSupport project governance processesDevelop additional project-specific presentations and status reportsEnsure project documentation is up-to-date and organizedHelp to identify and implement process improvements to increase project efficiency and effectivenessTo succeed in this role, you have:A university/college degree with a focus in management, operations, or equivalent practical experience3+ years of project delivery experience with an ability to support multiple projects and changing priorities under tight deadlines with multiple stakeholdersWillingness to learn and take on new opportunitiesExcellent communication skills, both verbal and writtenKnowledge of project management methodologies, tools, and techniquesStrong organizational skills and attention to detailHands on experience with JIRA, Confluence, MS Visio, Excel, PowerPoint, MS Project and other project management toolsAbility to easily build rapport with others, including team members, peers, and executivesAbility to work independently and as part of a teamStrong problem-solving skills and ability to think creativelyKnowledge of pension plans, systems and processes is an assetProject Management Professional (PMP)/Certified Scrum Master (CSM) is an assetOur story:Founded in 1962, OMERS is one of Canada\xe2\x80\x99s largest defined benefit pension plans, with $128.6 CAD billion in net assets as of December 31, 2023.
