Translating technical systems specifications into working, tested applications.
Developing detailed programming specifications.
Writing and/or generating code.
Compiling data-driven programs, maintaining, and conducting unit tests.
Resolving and troubleshooting technical problems during software package use and operation.
Providing post-implementation support and resolving any post-implementation technical issues.
Ability to collaborate with IT Professionals throughout the Software Development Life Cycle.
Experience in structured methodologies for application development, design, implementation, and maintenance.
Proficiency in design, code, test, debug, and document applications.
Knowledge and understanding of Information Management principles.
Experience conducting design walkthrough sessions with project teams.
Qualifications

Bachelor\'s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
Minimum of eight (8) years of experience in the entire Software Development Life Cycle.
Proven expertise in Microsoft .Net Framework Technologies.
Ability to collaborate effectively with IT Professionals throughout the Software Development Life Cycle.
Extensive experience in developing web-based applications in the client/server environment.
Strong knowledge and practical skills in Web Development, including HTML, XML, XSLT, JavaScript, and Visual Studio 2005/2008/2010.
Expertise in frameworks such as ASP.NET, MVC, AJAX, WPF, WCF, Windows & Web Services.
Experience with web servers, including Internet Information Services (IIS) 7.0, 8.0.
Strong command of databases: MS SQL Server 2005, 2008, 2012.
Familiarity with reporting tools like Crystal reports, Excel, SSRS.
Proficiency in database systems, with a focus on MS SQL 2005, 2008, 2012, and stored procedures.
Experience in programming Internet-ready applications is highly desirable.
Familiarity with rapid application development (RAD) methodologies.
Exposure to middleware and gateways in enhancing application functionality.
Previous experience in reviewing, analyzing, and modifying product installation scripts, including encoding, testing, and debugging.
Ability to provide post-implementation support and resolve any post-implementation technical issues.
Experience conducting design walkthrough sessions with project teams.
Knowledge and understanding of Information Management principles, concepts, policies, and practices.
Familiarity with the Accessibility for Ontarians with Disability Act (AODA) and related regulations and standards.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Proven track record for meeting deadlines and working as a team player.
Employment Details

Salary: $67.00HR to $70.00HR
Benefits: 37.5 Hours Weekly, Contract, Onsite
Schedule: 8:00AM to 4:00PM, Monday to Friday
Other: 9 months contract, possibility extension
