Overview / Responsibilities

Wood\'s Calgary office is recruiting for a talented Lead Maintenance & Reliabilty Engineer, Canada to support the technical leadership annd coordination of Asset Maintenance & Reliability builds, studies and optimization projects.

The Lead Maintenance & Reliabilty Engineer will lead a team and support maintenance assessments and maintenance analysis and improvements projects

Key Responsibilities:

  • Effective project management to ensure on time delivery of the projects, within scope and budget, while meeting the client\xe2\x80\x99s expectations
  • Ensure that projects are executed via established project management processes, as well as providing support and training to the team, building their technical analysis and reporting capabilities
  • Build and maintain customer relationships necessary for effective client communication and opportunity growth
  • Ensure administrative processes and systems such as time keeping, work instructions, scheduling, and documentation control are maintained
  • Provide a safe and healthy working environment, promoting safe working practices and continuous improvement in health and safety performance
  • Ensure that the productivity of the team meets key metrics which are evaluated based on billability, on time delivery, and variance
  • Provide training and mentoring to team members to meet their professional and personal development goals
  • Development of team members will be built on the foundations of growing their communication and soft skills to develop strong client relationships that will support the entrepreneurial and consultancy culture within the business.
  • Coach, inspire and challenge the local team to achieve and exceed goals
  • Complete performance assessments, sets goals, and review with team members in coordination with the annual companywide review process
  • Support the development and review of proposals and tenders, ensuring the submission reflects the correct company business process and capabilities, and meets the appropriate commercial thresholds.
  • Ensure direct reports are operating in compliance with Wood HR and HSE policies and standards
Skills / Qualifications
  • BSc, BEng, BTech. Degree in either Mechanical Engineering discipline or equivalent with Site-based experience in Maintenance and Reliability management
  • MSRP Certification is advantageous
  • Minimum 10 years\xe2\x80\x99 experience in maintenance management and in the execution of maintenance development projects
  • Demonstrated knowledge of reliability and maintenance processes including Criticality Assessments, Failure Mode and Effect Analysis (FMEA), Reliability Centered Maintenance Studies
  • Strong functional and technical knowledge of Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) and Master Data Objects
  • Knowledge of OREDA, API and OSHA guidelines
  • Experience in maintenance data development and updates
  • Experience in the development and configuration of Maintenance and Spares Master Data
  • Experience in the execution of big data analytics and machine learning techniques
  • Demonstrable balance of offshore and onshore asset equipment installation, operations, and maintenance experience
  • Experience in the operation and maintenance of oil and gas, petrochemical, LNG, or manufacturing assets
  • Experience and working knowledge of process safety and equipment safety systems
  • Experience in leading teams and supervision
