Our Engineering Leadership group is looking to add a Lead Maintenance Integirty Engineer to their team, here in St. John\'s, NL! As the lead, you will be accountable for supporting and guiding the integrity engineering team and implementig inspection strategies, procedures, plans and reports for offshore oil and gas assets.

What will you be doing?

  • Liaise with other disciplines and departments through work development; investigating, advising and making recommendations based on problems identified during inspections;
  • Develop, deliver and implement Integrity Management programs including inspection processes, fit for purpose assessments, risk-based assessments (RBA), inspection and monitoring programs;
  • Work closely with Operations and Technical Engineering to execute integrity management activities and provide overall technical oversight to the Maintenance Integrity engineering team;
  • Develop integrity management strategies and programs to optimize asset integrity and efficiency;
  • Report remedial actions, recommendations and assessment of anomalies;
  • Provides technical guidance to discipline staff as well as mentoring to junior team members.
  • Perform final engineering review of deliverables;
  • Ensure overall customer requirements are met in line with agreed standards and expectations;
  • Develop and steward the budget and schedule for the discipline team; including progressing of CTRs
  • Takes a lead role in problem analysis, solution development, and implementation of corrective actions
  • Supports procurement, fabrication, and construction efforts including through bid evaluations, communication with suppliers, documentation review, and support to offshore execution.
  • Participates in capital cost estimating.
  • Works to assure compliance with project schedules and control estimates
  • Supports company objectives pertaining to quality, health, safety, security, and the environment.

We think you should have:
  • Engineering Degree, be registered as a Professional Engineer with a minimum of 10 years relevant experience; with supervisory experience
  • Must be familiar Materials, Welding and QA/QC practices, NDE / NDT techniques
  • Must be able to demonstrate working knowledge of Integrity Engineering including development, coordination and implementation of integrity management programs, RBI, fitness for service assessments, etc.
