Lead Java Engineer

with experience developing and building high-performing, scalable, enterprise applications. You will be part of a digital software team that works on high-demand applications. Responsibilities

Design and develop scalable architecture solutions using Restful APIs and Microservices to enhance system performance and reliability.

Implement and manage cloud-based solutions on Azure ensuring optimal resource utilization and cost-effectiveness.

Integrate Oracle databases with existing systems to ensure data consistency and accessibility.

Utilize Tomcat for deploying and managing Java applications ensuring high availability and security.

Conduct thorough testing using JUnit5 to ensure code quality and functionality.

Develop applications using Spring Boot and Spring Framework to streamline development processes and improve efficiency.

Use SONARQUBE to perform continuous code quality checks and maintain high coding standards.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of JSON and XML data formats.

Manage version control using GIT to track changes and collaborate effectively with team members.

Provide technical guidance and support to junior developers fostering a collaborative and innovative work environment.

Ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices in software development.

Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues to minimize downtime and enhance user experience.

Stay updated with the latest technology trends and incorporate them into the development process to maintain a competitive edge.

Qualifications

Possess a strong understanding of Restful APIs and Microservices architecture.

Demonstrate proficiency in Azure cloud services and Oracle database management.

Exhibit expertise in Java development using Core Java Spring Boot and Spring Framework.

Show experience with testing frameworks like JUnit5 and code quality tools like SONARQUBE.

Have a solid grasp of version control systems particularly GIT.

Display knowledge of data formats such as JSON and XML.

Experience with application servers like Tomcat is essential.
