Reporting to Head of CDS Technology, the Lead Architect Software Engineer will be a key player to design, develop and maintain software solutions based on multiple traditional technologies which would enable the growth of the business unit.

\xe2\x80\x8bKey accountabilities

You will be responsible for Technical leadership, software design, development, testing, automation and maintenance of applications across enterprise.

You will support business as usual activities (BAU) with Application support and Customer Operations team including but not limited to resolving production defects, performance issues and system outages.

You will identify and implement new and improved technologies & tools that would benefit supported systems and business.

You will design and develop Software solutions that fits within the guidelines set forth by Security, Architecture and Solution Leads.

You will work closely with Project Managers, Scrum Leads in creating project breakdown, technical delivery schedule and helping them meet all identified achievements.

You will document and test scripts supporting the development work.

You will provide documentation to Release/implementation teams to help them successfully deploy changes to the Production environment.

You are able to mentor and guide team members in any complex or challenging situations that requires advanced knowledge

Must haves:

Minimum 8+ Years of software development and design experience

University degree or college diploma in computer science or an equivalent combination of education and work experience

Experience in Core Java, Servlets, Spring Framework and Maven

Experience in established J2EE Application Servers, particularly in jBoss or websphere

Experience in writing complex queries, stored procedures and jobs, specifically in DB2

Experience in MQ Series for messaging

Should possess Analytical, Design, Architectural and documentation skills and able to solve challenging problems across SDLC be they technical, process or interpersonal

Nice to Haves:

Hands on experience in building both front-end web applications using HTML, CSS, JavaScript and back-end software using Java a plus

Hands on experience in developing, maintaining robust and maintainable software using CI/CD pipelines a plus

Knowledge of Post Trade (Clearing and Settlement) business applications
