Reporting to the Manager, Strategic Partnerships, the Lead, IT Vendor Management manages relationships with key vendors to deliver value and support strategic objectives. This role includes performance monitoring, risk mitigation, and process improvement to uphold the companys standards.What you will be doing:Be a courageous safety leader, adhere to and sponsor safety and environmental rules and proceduresDevelop and maintain positive relationships with key vendors, acting as the primary point of contactEnsure vendor services align strictly with business objectives and deliver desired valueFoster collaboration between vendors and internal teams to improve service deliverySupport the management of vendor agreements with procurement teams to ensure favorable conditions for the organizationSupport the lifecycle of vendor contracts, including negotiation, renewal, and termination in collaboration with procurement teamsWork with legal and procurement teams to address any contract-related issues or disputesMaintain accurate and up-to-date records of all vendor contracts and related documentationCollaborate with internal teams, including IT, procurement, legal, and operations, to ensure vendor services meet business needsRecommend and implement improvements to vendor management strategies and processesServe as the escalation point for vendor-related issues, ensuring timely and effective resolutionWhat you must have:College/University degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience)Relevant certifications in vendor management, contract management, or supply chain management are an asset4-6 years of experience in vendor management, procurement, or a related fieldExperience establishing IT Vendor processes, team etc.Vast knowledge of effective vendor management techniques and industry normsExperience with performance monitoring and reporting toolsExcellent negotiation skillsStrong problem-solving and decision-making abilitiesStrong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with collaborators both within and outside the organizationAbility to manage multiple vendor relationships and priorities in a dynamic environmentExperience in the mining or heavy industry sector is an assetSalary/Rate Range: $132,000 $163,000For more information about TEEMA and to consider other career opportunities, please visit our website at
