We are seeking a skilled and experienced Lead Installer to oversee and execute installation projects across various settings. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in construction, electrical systems, and technical installations, ensuring that all projects are completed efficiently, safely, and to the highest standards. This role involves leading installation teams, interpreting technical schematics, and coordinating with clients to deliver exceptional service. The Lead Installer will play a critical role in maintaining quality control and ensuring compliance with safety regulations.
Responsibilities
Lead and supervise installation teams during project execution, ensuring adherence to project timelines and safety protocols
Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings related to electrical, CCTV, telecommunication, and low-voltage systems
Install, troubleshoot, and maintain computer hardware, sensors, IDS (Intrusion Detection Systems), and power/low-voltage systems
Utilize hand tools and power tools to perform precise installations of equipment such as sensors, cameras, switches, and wiring
Conduct electrical work including wiring, grounding, and connecting various components according to specifications
Test installed systems for functionality and troubleshoot issues as they arise
Ensure all work complies with industry standards, local codes, and safety regulations
Coordinate with project managers and clients to ensure installation requirements are met effectively
Maintain detailed documentation of work performed and materials used
Requirements
Proven experience in construction, electrical work, or technical installations with a focus on CCTV, computer networking, or telecommunication systems
Strong knowledge of blueprint reading, schematics, mechanical systems, and schematics interpretation
Familiarity with computer hardware setup and troubleshooting
Electrical experience including wiring low-voltage systems and understanding of sensors and IDS technology
Ability to operate hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently
Mechanical knowledge related to system installation and maintenance
Experience working with low-voltage wiring or telecommunication infrastructure preferred
Knowledge of security systems such as CCTV cameras or IDS is a plus
Ability to read technical schematics accurately and follow detailed instructions
Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail
Valid driver's license preferred for travel between job sites
