Green Canada Major Services is seeking a skilled and dedicated Lead HVAC Technician to join our team.

The ideal candidate will possess strong knowledge and experience in heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems and attention to detail. This role involves installing, maintaining, and repairing HVAC systems to ensure optimal performance and efficiency. The HVAC Technician will work independently to deliver high-quality service to our clients.

HVAC Competencies/Duties

Install Heat Pump/Boilers/Hydronics/Furnace and Air conditioning equipment/Ventilation systems/MUA/RTU/AH Diagnose the cause of problems and/or failures in heat pump/boilers/hydronics/heating/air conditioning/ventilation systems, repair and/or replacement Perform preventative maintenance/service calls Inform management regarding procedures and/or status of work orders Inspect HVAC systems and their components (e.g., heating units, building exhaust fans, ventilation units, etc.) to evaluate condition, identify necessary repairs and recommend preventive maintenance when necessary. Participate in meetings, workshops, training, and seminars as required Prepare written materials (e.g., repair status, activity logs, etc.) as required

Trained in the operation of:

HVAC system operation, installation techniques, and refrigerant handling Refrigeration system faultfinding Electrical faultfinding of refrigeration and air conditioning equipment Electronic and pneumatic controls (basic) Installation and commissioning of digital, electrical, electronic and pneumatic controls

Certificates:

Gas 2 License by T.S.S.A. Air Conditioning & Refrigeration License 313D preferred/ an asset, not mandatory Ozone Depletion Ontario Driver's License (Full G - Clean driver abstract, must be able to provide a current Ontario Driver's abstract)

Professional Qualities and Experience:

Demonstrate leadership, teamwork, excellent time management and organizational skills, trustworthy, sound work ethic, work well with management, interpersonal skills, superior customer service, good decision making, sound judgment, honest, flexible, respectful.

Ability to work independently is a must.

Minimum experience required:

5 years (lead installer experience). We are not seeking a subcontractor.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $30.00 - $ 33.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40.00 per week
