Job Description

Objective:

Reporting to the Director, HR Operational Excellence, this role supports and drives continuous improvements across all aspects of the HR organization with focus on the employee experience. The incumbent will work with various HR teams to develop and implement HR improvement opportunities and projects.

Accountabilities:

  • Proactively identify and share creative, efficient, and effective ways to engage our employees with self-service material and facilitate sharing and collaboration
  • Document and share learnings - ensure requirements, lessons learned, and best practices and process enhancements are clear and documented
  • Support the development and ongoing monitoring of standard People Experience metrics to identify trends and problems
  • Collaborate with the HR team and other applicable stakeholders to identify root cause
  • Manage the prioritization and implementation of possible solutions or improvement opportunities, and build the Workday project roadmap
  • Manage the delivery of HR projects, gathers requirements from the HR team and business units, and translates requirements to solutions for the HRIS team
  • Establish success criteria and monitor progress/sustainment to ensure achievement of desired benefits
  • Serve as a liaison interfacing with HR and other functional units for any data gathering, reporting requirements and overall governance to provide technical solutions that meet user needs
Skills & Experience:
  • 5-7 years' experience in process improvement/ business analysis
  • Bachelor's degree, certification in lean six sigma an asset
  • Strong written communication skills and ability to communicate and influence employees at all levels in the organization
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with the ability to make judgments through analysis of quantitative facts, interpretation, evaluation, problem solving, and explanation
  • Dynamic experience in leading initiatives, teams, and/or initiatives in HR or Operations setting
  • Demonstrated success implementing change through end user and partner engagement, and sustaining results
