Lead Carpenter

, you will play a key role in overseeing and guiding a construction crew to ensure projects are completed on time, within scope, and to the highest standards. You will be responsible for hands-on work while also supervising, coordinating tasks, and assisting with site management.

What you'll need:

Proven experience in construction, with strong carpentry skills and the ability to operate various types of construction equipment Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and blueprints with accuracy Strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively liaise between the Project Manager, clients, and employees Valid driver's license and ability to obtain security clearances, if required Flexibility to work on any given project until instructed by the PM to assist elsewhere Ability to travel to northern or remote sites for specific projects, as needed

What you'll do:

Act as the "eyes on the ground" to assist the Project Manager with day-to-day site operations Provide real-time updates and ensure tasks are completed efficiently Review and confirm site drawings and measurements, relaying information back to the PM Ensure accurate documentation of project changes Coordinate material pickups, manage safety supplies, and ensure tools and equipment are properly maintained and available on-site Lead toolbox meetings to reinforce safety protocols, ensuring compliance with regulations Operate construction equipment and use technology for project tracking, documentation, and communication
