The primary function of the Lead Hand is to provide direction, on-floor leadership and continuous improvement of the production processes, procedures, and equipment. A Strike Lead Hand provides leadership and scheduling, and coordinates, supervises and ensures the safety and productivity of their assigned labourer.

SCOPE OF WORK
Integrity digs
CORE ACCOUNTABILITIES
Operate 2-5 ton picker trucks, telehandlers, skidsteers and AWP
Participate in daily toolbox Meetings
Participate in safety/incident investigations and reviews
Complete Task Hazard Assessments, Drivers Logs, and review Job Site Assessments
Manage and maintain client relationships
Apply project procedures, work site policies and collective agreement requirements Ensure quality and inspection of installation
Complete quality reports and required statistics
Inform the Superintendent of any out of scope work
Move equipment and materials between sites
Load and unload construction materials and equipment for transporting to work locations, following applicable safety securement protocols
Communicate work progress and safety performance to the site supervisor
Maintain all equipment and tools in good and safe working condition and report any findings to lead hand
Managing and performing general housekeeping and daily clean-up of work area
QUALIFICATIONS
Education
CSTS, H2S Alive, Fall Protection, AWP, First Aid
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, & ABILITIES
Capable of setting and managing priorities to meet all deadlines
Strong coordination skills and organization skills
Written and verbal communication skills
Valid driver's license
Ability to successfully complete a pre-employment drug and alcohol test
