Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Lead Hand to oversee our landscape interlocking team. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a passion for building and implementing designs. This role involves supervising daily operations, ensuring quality work, and fostering a positive team environment while executing various landscaping projects.

Duties

Supervise and coordinate the activities of landscape construction staff, ensuring tasks are completed efficiently and to high standards. Lead by example in performing hands-on work, including laying interlock, grading, and machinery operation (excavator, skid steer, etc...). Build and install landscape features such as patios, walkways, and retaining walls. Train new team members on best practices in landscape construction and safety protocols. Conduct regular inspections of work sites to ensure compliance with company standards and safety regulations.

Experience

Proven experience in landscape construction is essential. Previous supervisory or leadership experience is highly desirable. Strong knowledge of grading, tool usage, and machine operation. Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions while maintaining a positive attitude. Excellent communication skills to effectively lead a team and interact with clients. experience with a quick cut saw, able to grade with a level.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $25.00-$30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 35 - 50 per week
