JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Participates in team production/safety meeting where orders for the day are reviewed.
• Stickers & floor production paperwork are reviewed, prepared and collected for the days\' production.
• Receive and organize production orders to be completed each day.
• Responsible for monitoring any equipment maintenance issues and report to the maintenance lead.
• Backup lift operator or packing operator when workload exceeds the ability of the main operator.
• Fills in for the Packing Shed Manager as needed.
• Fills in during staff shortages to be able to continue production.
• Troubleshoot, adjust and correct process flow as required.
• Monitor packaging inventory and orders as needed.
• Ensure quality standards are met by collaborating with Quality Control Coordinator.
• Responsible for following all safety requirements.
• All additional duties as they become assigned.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS:

• High School Diploma or GED preferred
• Working knowledge and experience with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook)
• A forklift certification would be an asset but if candidate has experience, a forklift certification will be provided.
• Ability to work with minimum supervision in a team environment
• Effective verbal communication skills.
• Possess strong organizational and time management skills.
• Must be organized, able to work independently and collaboratively
• Team player with excellent attendance
• Ability to multi-task
• Detail oriented and goal driven
• Must possess a good safety record and demonstrate \xe2\x80\x9csafety first\'\' on a continual basis
• Must be self-motivated, observant, have good initiative and a positive attitude

• Must be able to work in a fast paced environment adapting to and embracing change as it occurs
• Ability to safety lift/move 50 lbs.

OTHER INFORMATION

• Ability to work varying hours, including some Saturdays and evenings as required
