We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Lead to oversee and coordinate various construction and manufacturing projects. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, technical expertise, and a comprehensive understanding of construction processes. This role involves supervising teams, ensuring project quality, and maintaining safety standards across diverse tasks including carpentry, framing various types of flooring a trim work and more. The Lead will play a critical role in ensuring projects are completed efficiently, safely, and to client specifications.
Responsibilities
Supervise daily operations on construction or manufacturing sites, ensuring adherence to project plans and safety protocols.
Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction drawings to guide project execution.
Oversee the installation of concrete forms, rebar, siding, roofing, flooring, tile laying, and cabinetry.
Coordinate with team members on tasks such as drywall installation, caulking, electrical work, plumbing, woodworking, and heavy lifting activities.
Manage the use of hand tools, power tools, other equipment to complete projects accurately.
Assist with construction estimating and project planning to ensure timely completion within budget constraints.
Conduct quality control inspections to verify work meets industry standards and client expectations.
Train and mentor team members in specialized skills such as masonry, restoration work, or siding installation.
Maintain a clean and safe work environment by enforcing safety procedures and protocols.
Skills
Proficiency in blueprint reading, schematics interpretation, and construction estimating.
Extensive hands-on experience with carpentry, roofing, siding installation, flooring installation, tile laying, and cabinetry.
Skilled in the use of hand tools, power tools
