Position Overview

The Lead Graphic Designer is responsible for developing and maintaining Basecamp Resorts' visual identity across digital, print, and social media platforms. This role ensures brand consistency, high-quality design, and effective collaboration with the marketing and development teams to enhance brand perception and guest experience.

Key Responsibilities:



Investor Branding & Visual Identity

Develop and maintain a cohesive visual identity across all Basecamp Resorts properties and sub-brands. Ensure consistent brand application across websites, print materials, social media, and advertising. Collaborate with the marketing team to refine and evolve the brand's creative direction. Enforce brand guidelines across internal and external communications to maintain visual integrity.

Graphic Design & Creative Development

Design and produce marketing materials, including brochures, flyers, signage, advertisements, and branded merchandise. Develop digital assets for social media, websites, email campaigns, and paid advertisements. Create compelling visuals for hotel, spa, and F&B marketing campaigns. Design layouts for presentations, investment decks, and promotional materials. Oversee branding of merchandise and develop new product concepts.

Web & Digital Design

Work alongside the Web Developer to design and implement UI/UX improvements on websites. Ensure website graphics and landing pages align with brand aesthetics and marketing goals. Create wireframes and mockups for website updates and user experience enhancements. Maintain and update digital assets across Basecamp Resorts' web platforms.

Advertising & Promotional Assets

Design print and digital advertisements for paid media campaigns across Google, Meta, and OTA platforms. Work with the Digital Media & Growth Specialist to create high-converting ad creatives. Develop engaging visuals for social media, influencer collaborations, and promotional events. Design and manage hotel directories, wayfinding materials, and outdoor advertising assets. Oversee design for branded merchandise and retail shop offerings.

Collateral & Print Management

Oversee the production and printing of all marketing collateral to ensure high-quality execution. Manage and organize print and digital design files for accessibility and brand consistency. Coordinate with third-party vendors and printers to ensure brand standards are met. Maintain an organized, up-to-date digital asset library for internal use and efficient distribution.

Collaboration & Strategy

Work closely with the marketing team to align design output with campaign objectives and brand storytelling. Support the development and execution of creative strategies to elevate brand visibility and engagement. Collaborate with the operations and development teams to create visually compelling property-level materials. Participate in brainstorming sessions to develop innovative design solutions for branding and guest experience.

Position Requirements

Bachelor's degree or diploma in Graphic Design, Visual Communications, Fine Arts, or a related field or 3-5+ years of professional graphic design experience A strong portfolio that demonstrates branding, digital, and print design expertise. Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, After Effects, Premiere Pro). Understanding of digital advertising design requirements (Google Ads, Meta, etc). Understanding of mobile web design requirements. Knowledge of typography, color theory, layout, and responsive design. Print production expertise (file prep, vendor coordination, proofing). Strong creative vision with attention to detail and consistency. Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Collaboration skills to work with marketing, development, and operations teams. Comfort giving and receiving feedback and evolving design based on strategy. Strong interpersonal communication skills, both written and verbal. Experience in hospitality, real estate, tourism, or lifestyle brands is an asset. Familiarity with Figma, Sketch, or other UI/UX and wireframing tools is an asset. Motion graphics, video editing, or photography direction is an asset.
