Are you a hands-on, solutions-driven Fullstack Developer looking to take a lead role in building high-performing, customer-facing digital banking applications? You will play a key role in strengthening system performance, ensuring engineering excellence, and guiding best practices across a highly visible digital platform.
Working with one of our top financial clients, this position calls for a Lead Fullstack Developer - Banking who will design, build, and enhance full-stack web applications, partner with architects and application owners to solve complex engineering challenges, and champion coding standards across the development pod. The ideal candidate will be an expert in enterprise Java, highly skilled in modern web development, and capable of troubleshooting and ideating solutions for Single Page Applications (SPAs) and large-scale online systems.
Responsibilities:

• Enhance and support a high-priority cross-banking money transfer platform through end-to-end full-stack development.
• Work closely with Application Owners and Architects to solution complex technical and transformational engineering problems.
• Ensure Java coding hygiene and act as a champion of best practices within the development pod.
• Guide and mentor developers as the Java expert, working with the Pod Tech Lead to address technical questions and clarifications.
• Participate in application design discussions and ensure alignment with enterprise architecture standards.
• Troubleshoot and ideate across full-stack components, particularly within Single Page Application environments.
• Contribute to microservices and micro front-end design and implementation.
• Collaborate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies, supporting high-quality delivery through iterative development.

Desired Skill Set:

• 8+ years of application development experience with strong expertise in Enterprise Java.
• Proven background in full-stack architecture and development.
• Hands-on experience with microservices and micro front-end architectures.
• Extensive experience with front-end web applications; exposure to TypeScript and React is an asset.
• Strong understanding of designing and troubleshooting full-stack systems (not limited to APIs).
• Experience working on online, customer-facing applications.
• Strong experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies (5+ years).
• Ability to provide technical leadership and guide development teams.
• Background or exposure in technology architecture.

Nice to Have:

• Experience developing online customer-facing applications (1+ year).
• Experience leading development teams through full project lifecycles (1+ year).
