About the Role

As a

Lead Instructor

, you'll:

Deliver engaging First Aid & Safety courses to participants and corporate groups Create welcoming, inclusive learning environments that build participant confidence and adapt to diverse learning styles and group needs Mentor, coach, and support First Aid instructors to help them grow and thrive Provide feedback, teaching tips, and hands-on support to help instructors maintain high quality and engaging learning environments Review class rosters and certification data for accuracy, compliance, and record keeping Assist with inventory, team development, and leadership meetings Travel throughout New Brunswick (2-8 days/month) and occasionally to other provinces (1-4 times per year)

What You'll Bring

Teaching, coaching, or supervisory experience (First Aid experience is an asset but not required) Strong communication, organization, and leadership skills Enjoys taking initiative and manages details and unexpected situations well High comfort level and experience with technology (experience with on-line training databases and digital calendar management considered an asset) Flexibility to travel and work some evenings or weekends Ability to balance teaching with administrative accuracy and team support Shows leadership through positivity, empathy, clarity -- builds others up, makes solid decisions, and sets the tone for professionalism and growth. Primary Responsibilities:

Instruction & Training Delivery

Deliver engaging, hands-on first aid training in accordance with Life Start standards. Create a welcoming, inclusive classroom environment that builds participant confidence. Conduct blended learning and in-person sessions, adjusting for diverse learning styles.

Quality & Growth

Maintain up-to-date certification and adhere to all Life Start policies and procedures. Participate in ongoing professional development opportunities and audits. Assist in refining teaching practices and sharing feedback with the training team.

Compensation & Growth

Progressive compensation model based on performance, responsibility growth, and tenure. Up to $7,000 retention bonus in year two for rock-star performance and staying power. Paid travel time, accommodations, and meal per diems ($15 breakfast, $15 lunch, $25 supper) Earn 1 paid day off (7.5 hours) for every 10 travel days completed Annual performance reviews and advancement opportunities within Life Start's growing network.
