Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Fence Builder to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for constructing, installing, and repairing various types of fences to meet our clients' needs. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in working with different fencing materials and tools, possess a keen eye for detail, and demonstrate strong craftsmanship skills.

Responsibilities:

1. Measure and layout fence lines to determine placement of posts, panels, and gates.

2. Select and cut materials to the appropriate size and shape for each project.

3. Install posts, attach rails or panels, and secure fencing materials to create a complete and sturdy fence.

4. Level and align fences to ensure a professional and attractive appearance.

5. Repair or replace damaged or worn parts of existing fences.

6. Provide excellent customer service and address any client questions or concerns.

7. Adhere to safety guidelines and regulations to prevent accidents and ensure a safe work environment.

8. Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition.

Qualifications:

1. Proven experience as a Fence Builder or similar role.

2. Proficiency in using various fencing materials (wood, vinyl, chain link, etc.) and tools (saws, drills, hammers, etc.).

3. Ability to read and interpret blueprints or construction plans.

4. Strong physical stamina and the ability to lift heavy materials.

5. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

6. Effective communication and customer service skills.

7. Knowledge of safety protocols and procedures in the construction industry.

8. High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training or certification in carpentry or a related field is a plus.

The work environment for a Fence Builder may vary, including outdoor construction sites, residential properties, or commercial settings. The job may involve exposure to various weather conditions and physical exertion.
