  • Manage full cycle executive level recruitment for Director, VP and Senior VP roles
  • Conduct external searches for executive talent, ensuring the ongoing development and maintenance of a robust talent pipeline
  • Provide mentoring to junior members of the team
Sourcing Support:
  • Provide sourcing support for challenging Backstage roles, employing innovative strategies to attract top talent
  • Build and maintain relationships with external associations to target specific candidates
Executive Onboarding:
  • Support a seamless onboarding experience for executive hires, ensuring a positive and productive transition
Budget Ownership and Reporting:
  • Take ownership of the budget for external vendors and agencies
  • Prepare periodical and quarterly reports detailing expenditure and performance metrics
Agency Engagement:
  • Lead the discovery, strategic execution, and ongoing maintenance of relationships with external agencies for temporary, permanent and executive-level roles
  • Facilitate collaboration between agency partners, TA and internal stakeholders to increase qualified talent pools for hard-to-fill positions when internal and external searches are unsuccessful
Partnership and Collaboration:
  • Work closely with the Talent Development team to support succession planning and internal mobility initiatives
  • Work with cross functional groups in addressing project needs and deliverables.
  • Responsible for supporting the DE&I & TA corporate strategy.
Korn Ferry Debriefs:
  • Conduct comprehensive Korn Ferry assessment debriefs, ensuring insights support the Talent Acquisition process for Senior Leader and above positions
What you have to offer:
  • Proven experience in executive search and talent acquisition, specifically for VP and Director-level roles
  • Strong understanding of corporate roles and the ability to source for challenging positions
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills
  • Demonstrated ability to manage budgets and report on vendor performance
  • Experience in strategic relationship management with external agencies
  • Familiarity with succession planning and internal mobility processes
  • Knowledge of Korn Ferry methodologies an asset
  • Bilingual written and spoken (french and english) The candidate will be expected to work with peers in other provinces in the development, development and implementation of tools and processes across Canada, as well as provide support to Sobeys employees across Canada
