This is a 12-month temporary position.

So, what will your new role look like?

As the Lead, Events and Sponsorships in the brand team, your role will play a pivotal role in driving our brand\'s expansion through event planning and coordination that aligns with our objectives and target audience. You will take the lead in identifying events that are well-suited to our goals, orchestrating every aspect of our brand\'s presence from ideation to execution. Furthermore, you will have a critical role in measuring results and ROI, as well as coordinating post-event communication across multiple teams. Your responsibilities will also encompass assessing the company\'s need to organize events to promote Workleap and our products. You will lead and manage event timelines and coordinate technical aspects. Additionally, you will be responsible for onsite management throughout all phases of events, ensuring seamless execution before, during, and after each event.

You will:

  • Assesses and conceptualizes company\xe2\x80\x99s needs and desires for a variety of meetings and events including internal and recruiting events, if needed. Consults with managers to assess and understand their needs for these events.
  • Leads by planning and coordinating the execution of the brand marketing campaigns for the events based on the company objectives.
  • Builds the business cases for new events, re-evaluates legacy events, helps define goals and budget, tracks ROI and engagement analytics; collects feedback to consistently assess and implements opportunities for improvement.
  • Maintains the inventory and budget of promotional items for events, brand, marketing, employee engagement activities, onboarding, etc.
  • Research industry trends and recommends new ideas for promo items, tradeshow booths, experiential marketing, and develops and distributes communications toolkits for event campaigns.
  • Compiles a list of prospective event locations; visits locations and provides guidance for final selection.
  • Completes and manages vendor contracts, registration forms and payments for all events.
  • Consults with managers/internal clients and coordinates with the marketing team to plan and develop events schedules, topics, and featured speakers.
  • Manages all administrative duties and details related to events including financial operations, promotional material distribution and answering inquiries and demands for information.
  • Attends tradeshows and ensures the smooth running of the event on site. Acts as an ambassador for the organization and always representing the brand positively.
  • Measures impacts of events, especially their impact on products and on the employer brand by doing follow-ups with the attendees, creating surveys, etc.
  • Plans and coordinates speaking opportunities for key subject matter experts, with or without sponsorships.
  • Ensures brand consistency and maintenance of the corporate image and ensure that the communication messages are consistent on all touchpoints around events and sponsorships.
  • Provides stakeholders across the company with regular event updates.

You\'ll be part of a team of around twelve brand enthusiasts who work together in various areas like strategy, brand management, digital marketing, design, writing and PR. The aim is to build a strong foundation for the Workleap brand and its products, presenting them favourably in competitive markets and attracting top talent through an appealing employer brand. As a member of the marketing team, you\'ll collaborate with all team members and work closely with other teams.

Your role will be essential in sharing our story and promoting the Workleap brand through events. Qualifications
  • Being open to international travel for events and occasions (a dozen per year).
  • Great interpersonal and communication english skills
  • Problem solver & Multitaskers
  • Management and Negotiation skills
  • An understanding of digital marketing, social media and other technics to promote events
  • Knowledge of performance monitoring methods for events and the ability to create reports to guide future event improvements
  • An understanding of the IT and HR industry
  • 5+ years of experience in a similar role
  • Portfolio of successful events planning
  • Performing well under pressure
  • Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree in marketing or a related field
