This position is casual in nature with, specific dates on on-location work. The specific dates that require attendance are provided below, and there may be additional dates which can be attended optionally. The Lead Evaluator must attend at least 24 pre-scheduled evaluations in-person, and the remainder of their duties can be performed remotely or on-campus (whichever preferred).

Description:
The Canadian Fire Rescue College (CFRC) is seeking a Lead Evaluator to manage and deliver final provincial IFSAC and Pro Board skills evaluations at our campus located in Springbrook (Red Deer), at live fire testing sites in the City of Red Deer, and Red Deer County, and on location to various clients throughout the province. The successful candidate will be expected to work on specific evaluation dates, and conduct preparations in advance - in coordination with other evaluators, assistants, administrators, and instructional staff. The Lead Evaluator will be compensated via retainer for conducting planning, and organizational duties leading up to an evaluation, and will be paid by the hour when actively attending an evaluation on-site.
Duties:
Plan and deliver at least 24 pre-scheduled IFSAC and Pro Board evaluations on behalf of the Province of Alberta throughout each year.
Plan, assign resources/personnel, and manage delivery of any additional IFSAC and Pro Board evaluations (not required to physically attend).
Maintain accurate records of attendance, progress, and evaluations - submit to College Administration.
Coordinate evaluation requirements with other college staff and students
Ensure evaluations are conducted in a fair and equitable manner, in a way that is safe, efficient and cost effective.
