Innovative Access is looking for a skilled and enthusiastic Lead Installer to join our high-rise equipment installation team in the Ottawa - Gatineau region. The installer will collaborate with our design and project management team to redefine Ottawa-Gatineau's skyline. Our team specializes in the design, fabrication, installation and testing of high-rise access equipment for window cleaning, building maintenance, and fall protection systems.

You will be an important part of the team from the beginning of a project all the way through fabrication and construction of our high-rise maintenance equipment. If you are up for a challenge and enjoy working in a fast-paced environment, this position is for you.

Your Role:

Lead the installation of window cleaning and fall protection equipment. This includes but is not limited to roof anchors, davit bases, horizontal lifeline systems, etc.

Perform equipment load testing and commissioning of on-site.

Prepare tools, equipment, and materials prior to site work.

Organize equipment and inventory.

Prepare mock-ups prior to installation.

Development of new equipment concepts and in-house testing of prototypes.

Deliver equipment on site / pickup from suppliers in company truck.

Abilities:

Work physically and lift heavy items at times.

Climb ladders and flights of stairs as required.

Working with hand tools and powered tools.

Enthusiastic and positive mindset.

Qualifications:

Valid working at heights training will be considered an asset.

Valid government security clearance will be considered an asset.

Valid drivers G licence.

Minimum 5 years of construction experience.

Experience installing / using fall protection equipment is considered an asset.

Hourly Rate: $28.50-$39.00
