The Ministry of Transportation is looking for an individual who is interested in providing engineering, technical and contract management expertise to lead and coordinate the ministry's delivery of highway operations related to maintenance, minor capital construction programs and projects, and corridor management.

This position requires frequent travel within the central region for meetings and site visits.

In this role, you will:
lead and direct technical staff in the provision and coordination of engineering, technical, and contract management expertise
provide expert technical expertise to resolve complex and contentious issues, engineering problems, and contract disputes
lead and coordinate the review and development of recommendations for proposed change orders, claim settlements, and corridor management projects
lead, coordinate, and participate in negotiations with consultants, contractors, developers, and municipalities
lead, and coordinate end-to-end aspects of the delivery of complex medium to large-scale multi-disciplinary and multi-year projects and activities

Mandatory requirements
The positions require the successful candidates to have a valid class G driver's licence or equivalent. The offer of employment is conditional upon the successful candidate providing proof that they have a valid driver's licence upon being hired.
