This role is ideal for a dynamic individual who is pursuing certified teacher (OCT/OCCLT) & also has the vision and capability to design and implement a comprehensive curriculum aligned with the Ontario Curriculum across all grade levels. The successful candidate will also work closely with the Centre Director, acting as the face of the business, overseeing daily operations, and ensuring the highest standards of teaching and learning. The incumbent will be eligible for a bonus component on each successful enrollment.
Responsibilities
Design, develop, and implement a full Ontario curriculum framework for all grade levels (JK-Grade 12)
Ensure curriculum is age-appropriate, engaging, and aligned with Ministry of Education standards
Collaborate with the Centre Director to manage day-to-day educational operations and staff oversight
Monitor student progress, instructional quality, and program effectiveness
Serve as the main academic liaison for parents, students, and educators
Support recruitment, onboarding, and training of teaching staff as needed
Represent the brand and uphold its values in all communications and interactions
Stay current with educational best practices, technologies, and provincial updates
Experience
Proven experience in training development, content development, or instructional design is essential.
Familiarity with Learning Management Systems (LMS) is preferred.
Strong project management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills are required for presenting ideas clearly.
A background in education or classroom experience is highly desirable.
Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while also being self-motivated.
Qualifications:
Certified or pursuing with the Ontario College of Teachers (OCT) or Ontario Certified Childcare Teacher (OCCLT)
Extensive knowledge of the Ontario Curriculum from JK to Grade 12
Minimum 3 years of teaching and/or curriculum development experience
Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills
Demonstrated ability to manage educational programs and support operational excellence
