Project Details:




Based at our project in Northern S.K., this will be a 3 week on / 3 week off rotation opportunity.


Responsibilities:




The

Lead Development Miner

on our remote project in the Northern S.K. is responsible and accountable for the following:


Strictly adhere to all legislated regulations, as well as company Health & Safety policies to ensure safe work practices and uphold Health & Safety as the top priority. Comply with all site-specific and underground policies and procedures to maintain operational integrity and safety standards. Must lead the crew and assign work as required in changing work environment to safely meet production targets Safely operate underground mining equipment including Jumbo, and MacLean, and Jackleg Install ground support as directed Installing mine services Perform underground construction related work Demonstrate excellent mechanical aptitude and communication abilities to ensure safe operation within underground mining environments. Other mining related tasks as required

Qualifications / Requirements:




Minimum 5 years working full-time in an underground mine environment with recent experience operating Jumbo (Epiroc / Sandvik) Previous Lead Hand experience Experienced in installation of ground support using a jackleg & stoper, jumbo, macLean Experience operating scooptrams, scissorlifts, and other underground equipment Shotcrete/concrete/construction experience would be considered an asset Slinging / rigging experience would be considered an asset Capable of reading and interpreting mine engineering drawings and drill prints to ensure precise execution of tasks. Demonstrate a strong work ethic, reliable attendance, punctuality, and an unwavering commitment to safety. Must be willing to work a 3-weeks-on / 3-weeks-off rotational schedule. Physically capable of lifting and carrying up to 50 lbs repetitively and consistently throughout the workday. Proven ability to collaborate effectively with diverse crews and adapt seamlessly to different team dynamics. Maintains a positive attitude and takes initiative as a proactive contributor to high-performing teams. Thrives in fast-paced environments while maintaining focus, efficiency, and safety standards. Drug Test Alcohol Test Mine Rescue Medical Criminal Record Check Must take part in Underground Mine Rescue Training

If this position involves frequent air travel to and from the work site. Applicants must meet all legislated requirements for air travel to work at the remote site camp. You will be required to work both dayshift and nightshift as part of the rotational schedule 21 days on site, 21 days off site. For this safety sensitive position, you will be required to undergo a background check and be required to undergo a substance test and pre-employment testing.
