The Role

RedMane has a full-time opportunity for a Lead Developer as we continue to grow our Vancouver based practice. The Lead Developer is a hands-on role responsible for architecture and driving the development of our low code, highly configurable SaaS product. This role will work on a dynamic development team in an Agile/Scrum environment to deliver a customized solution for our clients. Mentor team members in design, coding practices, and software development policies and guidelines.



Day to Day Activities Include



Envisioning innovative solutions for complex problems, leveraging advanced understanding of software engineering principles. Leading technical design sessions, prototype work, and proofs-of-concept. Hands-on analysis, design, and development to enable further product scalability and interoperability. Working with the project manager to remove obstacles, review design, and ensure releases meet the needs of stakeholders. Mentoring team members in design, coding practices, and software development policies and guidelines. Actively contributing to software development design and coding standards. Verifying all completed work follows best practices and engineering standards. Supporting cross-functional teams in testing, deploying, and implementing the product.

Preferred Qualifications

8+ years of experience in software development as a full stack developer. 2+ years of engineering leadership experience, preferably in a C#, .NET, and SQL Server environment. 2+ in enterprise-level platforms for custom solution building, preferably in a cloud/Azure environment. Experienced in use of AI in software development Led teams of 5-10 developers. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills. Strong communication skills, with the ability to convey technical concepts to individuals with varying levels of technical understanding. Highly self-motivated with the ability to work independently. Proven ability to efficiently learn and apply new ideas and concepts. Ability to organize time, staff, and projects efficiently.
