Job Description

Join our amazing team! Bitehaus Dental is looking for an experienced lead receptionist who brings sunshine to the front desk. This role will be split between our two locations: 2 days at our St Clair office (833 St Clair Ave West) and 3 days at our Hillsdale office (6 Hillsdale Ave East). Once one of the offices is ready for a full time receptionist, we can do full time at one location.

As a Dental Receptionist, you will be the first point of contact for patients, responsible for managing the front desk operations and ensuring a welcoming environment. Your role is vital in supporting the dental team and enhancing patient satisfaction within our practice. Join us to contribute to a positive patient experience in a dynamic dental office setting. Minimum of 2 years dental reception experience required. Must be available 4-5 days per week, including up to 2 evenings a week until 7 pm and 1-2 Saturdays per month. Closed long weekends and for 1-2 weeks over the Christmas Holidays.

Responsibilities



Greet patients warmly and assist them with check-in and check-out procedures. Manage incoming calls, schedule appointments, and confirm patient visits using phone systems. Manage online bookings, texts, and emails. Maintain accurate patient records in electronic medical records systems Handle billing inquiries and insurance verification to facilitate smooth transactions. Communicate effectively with dental staff regarding patient needs and office operations. Ensure the front desk area is organized and welcoming for patients. Assist with administrative tasks as needed, including recalls, reports, hygiene retention, etc.

Experience



Minimum 2 years previous experience as a Dental Receptionist is required. Familiarity with dental terminology and office procedures is highly desirable. Strong communication skills and the ability to work well under pressure and alone in a fast-paced environment. A commitment to providing exceptional patient care and maintaining confidentiality at all times.
