Job Description

We are seeking a highly organized and proactive

Lead Catering Driver and Dispatcher

to oversee our team of delivery drivers and ensure seamless execution of catering deliveries across the GTA. This position blends logistics, leadership, and client service--ideal for someone with experience in event coordination, delivery operations (e.g., Amazon), or the hospitality industry.

Key Responsibilities

-Create, adjust, and manage daily delivery schedules for catering orders

-Supervise and dispatch delivery drivers, ensuring punctuality and professionalism

-Collaborate with event coordinators and kitchen staff to confirm accurate orders and timelines

-Oversee event inventory management, including packing, loading, and restocking as needed

-Ensure compliance with alcohol delivery regulations and assist with purchasing when required

-Act as the key liaison for client-facing delivery issues and real-time logistics troubleshooting

-Monitor vehicle condition, cleanliness, and safety compliance

-Onboard and mentor new delivery staff

-Organize internal schedules for staffing coverage and high-volume periods

-Step in to complete deliveries when necessary

Qualifications

-2-5+ years of logistics, event, or catering delivery experience

-Experience supervising teams or dispatching drivers (Amazon or similar experience a strong asset)

-Clean driving abstract and valid Ontario G-class license

-Strong interpersonal and communication skills

-Detail-oriented and capable of handling last-minute changes with poise

-Client-facing and professional demeanor

-Comfortable with basic computer use, Microsoft Office and logistics software

-Alcohol purchasing knowledge an asset

-Must be flexible with availability, especially mornings, evenings, and weekends during peak seasons

Compensation & Perks

$25/hour (based on experience)
