Job Description

Residential Construction/Renovation company looking for competent, experienced, flexible individual to join our team. This job requires hands on work, flexibility to accomplish a wide variety of tasks. This candidate will be working primarily on construction sites in London and other SW Ontario locations. Sites include low & medium residential sites. Ideal candidate is able to complete multiple different tasks during a day, manage multiple priorities, and think quickly on their feet.

Tasks include but are not limited to:

Being the point person and have responsibility for the construction site Proactively handle day-to-day operations of construction site - both new builds, and renovation projects Ensuring health and safety guidelines are followed on site at all times Interpret plans, regulations, and codes of practice in order to direct the progress of work and monitor compliance with construction documents Arrange supply of material and equipment Proactively communication with project managers, engineers, labourers, subcontractors, and inspectors. Be proactive in recognizing and dealing with issues that may arise on site Monitor and coordinate communication on projects' progress Track & manage site instructions, contemplated change notices and change orders Ability to manage a team of labourers/site crew where needed.
Skills & Qualifications

Minimum 5 years experience as a construction site manager/ supervisor Experience with framing, windows/door installation, drywall & paint, cement work mandatory Excellent written and verbal communication skills Read and understand construction drawings/ documents Strong multitasking and organizational skills Ability to work individually or as part of a team, overseeing and directing labourers when necessary Computer skills including Microsoft Word, Excel (OneDrive, SmartSheet, etc. are an asset) Have a G Class Drivers license

Pay: $25.00-$28.00 per hour
