We are also a leading supplier of uranium refining, conversion, and fuel manufacturing services from our operations in Ontario.The RoleReporting into the Sr. Specialist, Transport & Logistics, located at the Saskatoon Corporate office, Cameco is looking for a motivated, team-oriented professional who values integrity, safety and the environment and strives to incorporate those values into their everyday achievements.In this role, you will:

  • Check daily levels of required bulk commodities at all sites and connect with suppliers on product availability and provide daily direction to transport carrier to establish priority.
  • Interpret forecast volumes to coordinate schedules with stakeholders. Monitor daily levels to understand consumption trends and required delivery frequency.
  • Risk management - identify issues that may disrupt delivery and inventory. Work with sites to project future bulk needs that are off cycle and determine monthly/annual volume.
  • Work with sites, Business Technology Systems department and possible external software providers to develop a dashboard as a single source of data that is routinely updated to build history and knowledge for future usage.
  • Maintain dashboard result and monitor for deficiencies and update processes to ensure consistent and reliable dashboard operation and maintenance.
  • Manage daily, weekly and monthly reporting requirements with both internal and external stakeholders. Review, analyze and approve invoices, as required.
  • Work with The Saskatchewan Ministry of Highways to ensure safety and compliance.
Required:
  • Grade 12 diploma
  • Three to Five years\' work experience in safety and transportation, pneumatic and bulk trucking required.
  • Equivalent combination of education and work experience considered.
Recommended:
  • Knowledge of reagents commodities, tractor/trailer configurations and weight requirements.
