LEAD BARISTA | Charlotte & The Quail | Victoria BC

Full-time | 32-40 hours per week | $23/hr + tips

This is an ideal opportunity for a coffee-loving (beet-rose-latte-making) individual looking to build a solid foundation to lead the C&Q beverage program. You will bring artistry, precision, confidence, and a kind presence - contributing to the care that defines our garden to plate (and cup) ethos. You'll be a part of a collaborative team, maintain a calm and thoughtful rhythm behind the counter, and play a key role in creating our seasonal offerings and daily cafe magic. A big part of what makes this Special Little Place is our beverages; delicious and wholesome - garnished with something pretty harvested from the garden outside.

What You'll Do:

Craft exceptional espresso, signature beverages and seasonal cocktails
Lead and support a small team of baristas and train new members
Maintain quality, equipment care, and cafe cleanliness
Engage guests with warmth, story, and guidance
Support maintaining inventory

What You Bring:

2+ years barista experience with strong skills for high volume brunches
Leadership or mentoring experience in a cafe setting
A love for curating memorable guest experiences
Familiarity with local/seasonal values and quality sourcing
A desire to grow roots in a values-led business
Availability to work weekends
