Job Summary:

Pre-requisite Qualifications:

-Fluent oral and written English (able to clearly comprehend and convey work instructions, including on-the-job training and coaching of general production workers)

-Minimum 3 years bakery experience in a high-production bakery environment

-Knowledge of company equipment and recipes

-Able to lead, influence and motivate work teams

-Able to foster continuous learning and technical development of team

-Intermediate computer and strong mathematical skills

-Capable of lifting up to 19KG

-Able to stand for extended periods and perform manual mixing, reaching and bending, squatting ,stretching, pulling and lifting, moving equipment, exposure to hot or cold work environment, including blast freezer

-Training: Health & Safety, GMP's, HACCP

-Working knowledge of relevant bakery equipment

-Sound judgement and hands-on problem solving style

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

Responsible for baking Baker Street baked products In accordance with GMP training, maintain personal hygiene and workplace cleanliness Complete daily work list Prepare and ensure product quality by following recipes and product specification sheets Be able to move from one work station to another as needed Work cooperatively with station team to maintain the pace of production Communicate any questions, concerns or suggestions to the Supervisor Perform other tasks as assigned from time to time by the Supervisor
