Job Title Lead Application Developer



As the Lead Developer, you\xe2\x80\x99ll work as part of a small, autonomous, agile team to deliver both internal and external applications. We are looking for top notch software engineers who are great team players and obsessive about the quality of their code and delivered service.

What will you do?

• Create new customer-facing applications and using Python, Java, Angular and the latest technologies
• Automate processes within the development pipeline; identify opportunities for efficiency gains and reducing time-to-market, and enabling continuous delivery
• Design and develop code structures to promote reusability across many applications
• Lead and mentor other developers to elevate the entire team\xe2\x80\x99s skillset and mindset. Coach others on the team and practice peer-programming.
• You will actively seek out knowledge about new technologies and how they can be used to solve current and foreseeable challenges

What do you need to succeed?

Must have:

• B.S. degree in Computer Science or related technical field (e.g. EE, physics or mathematics), or equivalent practical experience.
• 5-7 years\xe2\x80\x99 hands-on experience with Python, Java including 2+ years\xe2\x80\x99 experience with Angular
• Produce detailed designed documentation and flows (high level architecture diagrams, sequence diagrams, etc)
• Ability to lead and perform quality code reviews is key in this role
• Experience working in an Agile environment
