The Role

We're looking for a

Lead Accountant

to join our team and take ownership of client files, manage full-cycle accounting, and ensure our clients' finances are accurate and compliant. You'll work closely with our CPAs in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

Hours:

Full-time, 40 hours/week, Monday-Friday, with occasional weekend work during peak seasons.

What You'll Do

Manage full-cycle accounting: prepare and finalize financials, close books, and ensure compliance with Canadian accounting standards. Lead corporate and personal tax preparation and filings accurately and on time. Conduct compilation engagements across multiple industries. Handle payroll, reconciliations, T2s, T1s, and other accounting essentials.

What We're Looking For

Bachelor's degree in Business Administration (Accounting focus). 3+ years managing the full accounting cycle. 3+ years of hands-on QuickBooks experience (online & desktop) and advanced Excel skills. 2+ years of corporate tax filing and compilation experience. Strong attention to detail, calm under pressure, and proficient in accounting software (QuickBooks, CaseWare, TaxPrep, Profile, Xero, etc.).

Pay: $65,000.00-$77,000.00 per year
