About the Role:
We are looking for a dedicated and passionate lawyer who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is eager to take responsibility of their files from start to finish. The ideal candidate will be confident, well-versed in litigation and committed to advocating for the rights of injured clients.
Who you are:
Minimum 3+ years' experience in plaintiff and/or defence work, including Accident Benefit and Tort
Called to the Bar and licensed to practice in Ontario, in good standing with the LSO
Strong litigation experience, with comfort managing a file independently
Ability to demonstrate sound judgement, keen eye for details and a tenacity for solving complex problems
Analytical skills, utilizing your knowledge of the law for sound decision-making
Exceptional time management skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize independently
Outstanding verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to draft clear and effective correspondence, memos, and other legal documents
A proactive and client-focused mindset
Desire to contribute to a collaborative and supportive team environment
Passion, excitement, creativity, positive energy
Open-minded to new ideas and delivery
