Job Overview

We are seeking one dedicated and skilled Maintenance Crew member to join our team on a

full-time

basis

for the remainder of the season.

One

part-time

position is also available.

This position is NOT suitable for students returning to school in September as you must be available to work Monday-Friday 7:00 a.m. to mid-afternoon

This role is essential in ensuring the upkeep and functionality of residential and commercial outdoor spaces. The ideal candidate will possess a blend of mechanical operation of lawn equipment, and a strong work ethic.

You will be responsible for various maintenance tasks that contribute to the overall aesthetic and operational efficiency of our properties.

Responsibilities

Perform lawn mowing and trimming to enhance the visual appeal of outdoor areas. Operate and maintain equipment such as lawn mowers and trimmers. Collaborate with team members to complete tasks efficiently while adhering to safety protocols. Maintain cleanliness and organization of equipment, vehicles and work areas to promote a safe working environment.

Requirements

A valid drivers license and vehicle to get to and from work each day is required.

Must be available to start as soon as possible and work until October 3.

Past

work experience

in lawn maintenance duties is an asset. Experience driving a pickup and pulling a utility trailer is an asset. Familiarity with operating self propelled lawn mowers and hand held trimmers is a plus. Ability to perform strenuous physical activity throughout the work day is essential. Ability to work in various weather conditions, especially hot summer heat is a must. Excellent attention to detail with a commitment to quality workmanship. Strong communication skills to coordinate with team members and work as part of a team. Successful applicants will be offered extended employment on a p/t casual basis during the winter months from November 1 until March 31 shoveling snow.

Job Types: Part-time, Seasonal

Pay: $17.00-$20.00 per hour
