Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Maintenance Supervisor to oversee our maintenance team and ensure the efficient operation of our facilities. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in landscape maintenance, irrigation systems, and horticulture, along with proven leadership skills. This role requires a hands-on approach to supervising maintenance activities while fostering a collaborative work environment.

Responsibilities

Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of the maintenance team to ensure tasks are completed efficiently and effectively. Oversee landscape maintenance projects, including gardening, irrigation installation, and upkeep of green spaces. Conduct regular inspections of facilities and grounds to identify maintenance needs and prioritize repairs. Develop and implement maintenance schedules for equipment and landscaping to enhance longevity and performance. Train and mentor team members on best practices in horticulture, landscape management, and safety protocols. Collaborate with other departments to support construction projects and ensure compliance with safety regulations. Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including work orders, inventory management, and equipment usage.

Skills

Strong knowledge of irrigation systems, gardening techniques, horticulture practices, and landscape maintenance principles. Proven supervisory experience with the ability to lead a diverse team effectively. Excellent leadership skills with a focus on team development and motivation. Solid understanding of construction processes related to landscaping and facility upkeep. Strong problem-solving abilities with attention to detail in executing maintenance tasks. Effective communication skills for interacting with team members, management, and external vendors. Pay: $22.50-$35.00 per hour
